Another Win!

How bout that Jeff Bennett?

He pitched 5 2/3rds innings and left the game with a 3-1 lead. That’s some solid clutch pitching, especially for a strained pitching staff. Also, the dastardly Mets lost, which is great for us. Phillies pulled out the win though, so we didn’t gain on them.

We’re now 4.5 games out of first in the East, and 5.5 out in the wild card. Interesting that the Braves are pushing right at the end like this, just so we get our hearts in it one last time this season. Let’s hope the Braves keep this win streak up and the continue their implosion.
