He has indicated very heavily, as Rue referred to, that Kotsay is the "bridge to Schafer". It'll be interesting to see how the coming years pan out for the center spot. Also, how about signing a guy like Brady Clark or Lew Ford to a low-cost, minor league contract with an invite to spring training. This would give the Braves not only a veteran option in center, but also a right-handed option(with Anderson, Schafer, Blanco, and Clark being left-handed).
