Keep in mind that Boyer, Ring, and (I think) Yates are all out of options. If they dopn't make the 40-man out of spring training, the Braves have gotta do someting with them besides sending them to Richmand. Thorman is also out of options. All in all, Bobby & co. have to be feeling a liot better going into this spring training than they did last year. Some would argue that a solid # 3 starter was all that kept us out of the play-offs, ' Smitty Excellent notes. Keep in mind that Boyer, Ring, and (I think) Yates are all out of options.
