I'll anxiously await the MRI results tomorrow. Who knows? It could be nothing, but it sounds like there's a pretty good possibility he'll spend at least a little time on the DL.

Oh Larry, let me make that an addendum. The Mets have old and washed up players in general – not just pitchers.

The Braves? We've got a great staff of veteran arms. They're not good for many more years, but quite frankly right now they're one of the NL's better rotations. Anyone who can't admit that is blinded by ignorance.

As far as having a worse record than the Nats, they may have that right now, but we're two games down bud. The Mets currently have a record worse than Washington.

Andrew, man, I feel your pain. We still have our fingers crossed about Hampton pitching tomorrow's game, though. Let's pray he doesn't trip coming out of the dugout.

I'm far more worried about Hampton successfully putting on his jersey than walking to the mound . . . I think everyone knows now how little faith I have in that man.

What nasty stuff! I loved it when the divisions were realigned & the Braves were moved to the NL East. I never want to play a team that is not at full strength due to injury. Bring on the best & let the chips fall where they may. Remember it's a long season.

Wow…such bitterness….

I agree with Al…I hope Pedro heals up pretty quickly…I'd hate to see what has the potential to be a four team race (ok, ok, I know…it's early) over just because of an injury.

Besides…it's kinda petty to hope the other team gets hurt….

Because if Pedro's hurt, how are the Braves gonna score 6 or 7 runs off of him????

I, for one, am glad that it wasn't an actual tear. You don't want to see someone that, in their day, was one of the dominant pitchers in the game, go out on a career-ending injury.
