Atkins hits one to right. Francoeur misplays the ball and Helton's around to score. Atkins on second. No error charged to Francoeur.

Diaz singles.

Jurrjens in to hit for himself. Looks like Bobby's going to try to get one more out of him. Bennett's up in the pen however.

Jurrjens with a little grounder to second. They force Diaz at second, end of the inning.

Yeah, we heard about it alright. Definitely not something you want to see. Reason enough to keep Kotsay around if you ask me. He's impressed me so far.

I agree. I was skeptical on Kotsay at the start of the season, as were a lot of people. But i've been pleased with his play so far. As long as the back holds out, I think he's filling the spot quite well.

I think if growing pains like that for a 21 year old kid are gonna happen it's best to grow up now and prepare for a good career. Maybe getting a taste of humility will be good for him.
