Braves Look To Sweep Mets

Written by Jonathan on May 22, 2008 – 6:29 pm

The Braves come into tonight’s game looking to sweep the Mets out of town in this 4-game series.  The Braves have outscored the Mets 23-7 in the first 3 games of the series that have seen the Mets’ offense looking rather flat.  Tim Hudson takes the mound for the Braves tonight against Mets’ ace Johan Santana.  The Keys for the Braves tonight are for Hudson to pitch a consistent game (he’s been streaky this season) and to jump on Santana when possible (he likes to give up the home run ball).  I expect a good pitching matchup tonight and a great game to be at.  Let’s go Braves!

Got a late start leaving work and heading to the game, but we’re on our way. I want to see a sweep!

Beltran and Delgado back-to-back home runs in the second. 2-0 Mets.

    Hey everyone.
Huddy seems to be pretty solid tonight. I just got home to catch the last few innings.

Let’s put a few more runs on the board and get the brooms out…..

Hey Susan. Huddy’s looked good. Only giving up 2 hits other than the back-to-back homers.

The Braves have 7 hits but just aren’t converting them to runs.

    How’re you tonight?

Good question. I guess real life sometimes gets in the way of baseball. But no worries, I will be there tomorrow :o )

Why are the Mets pitchers trying to take out our batters? It would have been awesome if Huddy charged the mound. But it laid down a great bunt and got KJ to third. Beautiful.

    Tie game!

There we go with the sweep – great to see the Braves with a come from behind win, especially over the Metros.

    Here we come, D-backs!
