But hopefully this will be better for us in the long run, he almost homered in his first at-bat on an 0-2 pitch but ended up walking (from an 0-2 count, seriously). At the same time it's great to see a former Tech player (Jason Perry) get a chance to play. I wonder if they brought him up for defensive purposes more than offensive, but hey he tripled in his first major league at-bat so good for him. I really hope Frenchy can turn it around, he's one of my favorite players and it kills me every time he doesn't deliver.
