While the Braves aren't going to be picked by any national media types to win the east... I'm convinced that they have more going for them than many people realize. And in my humble opinion, I think the Braves are on the level with the Phillies and Mets. On paper, the Braves are right there. It'll come down, obviously, to health and performance. Should be a good year for Braves fans. Can't wait to get it started. Dave, I feel the same way. I wish I could have made it down to spring training to take everything in, but that didn't work out. If the Braves have half of these guys perform to their full potential, we're going to be a very dangerous team. We underperformed all around last year and I think there's a lot more confidence this year than we had last year. I still doubt Soriano's able to come back and be fully effective immediately - or last for the whole season. We'll see. I fell we have the pieces in place to compete with any club anywhere, anytime. I think we will win the division, and go deep into the playoffs. I think the best thing that happened this off season was not making the Peavey trade. I believe the players you mentioned along with others will prove themselves a force to be reckoned with.
