You obviously don't know baseball. Matt Diaz carried this team why the rest of the offense slacked off. Matt Diaz is a solid ball player that has earned his spot. Not all guys are made to hitt 25hr a year. Some are single and double guys. A .300 average in the majors is more than respectable no matter how you come about it. For what we pay Diaz hes well worth it. And if you think the Braves have a shot at getting Braun your dreaming. The Brewers won't part with him for less than half our farm system.

I hope this is Matt Diaz last year with the Braves. He is a Punch and Judy .300 hitter who basically is a defensive liability whatever outfield position he plays.I hope Heyward is ready in right and maybe someone like Ryan Braun in left.

I was there last night….that truly hurt. I can't recall a game that ended like that in ages. Even more rare was that it basically ended the season. Tough, tough way to go out.

Without Matty D – no way the Braves are within 11 games of the wildcard.
He picked up the slack left by Chipper, McCain, and even Frenchy all year long. If he would have been a full time starter all year, he might be the MVP of this team.
Sucks that happened, but you are right, he has the biggest heart on this team.
