Phils are goin' down this year! Transplant USA makes it hard to sell out games sometimes. Half the people here don't even root for the Braves, but rather the team they grew up watching up North or wherever. Enjoy the wildcard.

does CBP have nothing to hold their bases in place. are they laying loose on the ground like play grounds are. I'm hanging in with a winner the Atlanta Braves. you Philly fans should get used to looking at tail lights. that what you and the Mets are gonna be looking at is the Braves tail lights going out of sight heading for the World Series. General you need to rethink your strategy. The Braves fans will be there to celebrate the victory.

lets see the bases are 90 feet apart they are fixed to the ground with a shaft that fits inside a cylinder in the ground and they are square. and home plate is in a different shape right. and Hank Aaron hit 755 home runs in his career. 733 playing for the Braves, and 22 playing for the Milwaukee Brewers in 1975 and 1976. Not to bad a career wouldn't you agree.

i'm glad to you know so much about CBP and the Phillies. i bet you just forgot my career home and away stats are better or equal away versus @ small little league citizen's bank park. I mean, the same BA and similar AB/HR truly shows how small my home park is, right? and the 450' HRs i hit to CF at home would have been flyball outs in every other park.

Oh Doug, you and your extensive baseball knowledge.

CBP ranked 16th last season in Hr's pe game at 1.005per. 16th out of 30 my man. 2009 was an anomaly? No, in 2008 they ranked 12th in Hr's per game even with one of the most powerful lineups in all of baseball in that time period.

Plus, with "smaller dimensions" its actually harder to find the gap for extra bases (that's a double or triple, doug). That means it's actually harder to move guys from base to base, you know, those white things set 90 foot apart and shit.

Also, I want to know more about CBP's little league dimensions. 330' down each line, 409' to not so straight away center with a 24 foot wall. The only power alleys are LC and RC where it doesn't dome out like a traditional ball park.

Doug, tell me more about what you know.

In all seriousness the Braves are definitely the Phils biggest threat in the East with a deep pitching staff and an outfield that won't be totally inept this year. It amazes me that they were able to trade Frenchy for someone who knows what the strike zone is, but then again Minaya is an idiot.

is the season over already the stats i am reading suggest that the braves won the NL East with 350 in attendance. The thing that gets the Philly and Met fans is there are millions of Braves fans all over the world. 14 banners in a row will do that!!!!!! and a world championship to go with that.
