Why don't the Braves send Bobby Cox packing? While the injuries make for good excuses, losing more than 20 1-run games is outrageous and a good manager can certainly change the direction of 5 - 6 of these games. BC may be great to play for, but the sloppiness and lethargy that we have seen in recent weeks is managerial neglect. It's time for him to go.

all ive heard the second half is that the Bravos are going to try to aquire a solid corner OF, and I was MLB TR and saw that Milton Bradley was a FA, any reasonable chance the Braves go after him or will we hope for the best with Brandon Jones?

I just wanted to say that I am new to bravescast and I found out about bravesblast on their website listening to Rue. I think its about time a girl gets her voice out there on baseball. You look really great to rue...I also thought Jeremy and Bert sounded really cute do you know anything about them. Maybe you could make a poll question for us girls like what braves are the cuttest. I also would like to say that going to the bathroom at turner field is horrible anything we can do about that?

Hey guys, I saw the other day on MLB Trade Rumors that the Braves were inquiring on Brian Roberts. What are your thoughts on that and do you see this as a possible move?

Hey guys just wondering what you think about Francours Statement in the AJC that he is going to be a completly different player, Also Glavine said he had another pain free pitching outing and seems to be leaning toward coming back with the braves what are your guys thoughts on this. I think you guys need a talk show or something get your voice out on the air

I know that Ive been an advocate for Oliver Perez, but how bad of a fit would Jon Garland be? In a rotation that is going to probably have 3 sub-30 year olds, I think the way he eats innings along with Vasquez would take a lot of pressure of our youngsters and bullpen while our young staff develops. Besides, a move to the NL would probably help his...what?...90Ks from last year?
anyway, just a thought that came to me that Id like feedback on
Thanks

I dont seem to understand why the Braves haven't been into negotiations with Pat Burrell. The Braves want a right handed power hitter to play left field, and bat in the 4 slot in between Chipper and Brian Mccann. And the Braves struggled against right handed pitching in '08, and Burrell did nothing but tear up right handed pitchers. And with all of our young outfielders, Burrell could bring some experience back into Atlanta. So why don't the Braves just sign Pat Burrell???

When it comes to switch hitters... Once they've started batting right or left can they change there side once they have been pitched to?

Ive heard a lot about Jason Heyward, and with comparisons like Ryan Howard with speed on one site, I was wondering how long before he could see time in the Bigs, and what position he would play, in your opinion at least, Ive heard 1st and LF, but I thought I should ask someone with at least some inside knowledge.

Braves announcers do not really know where these people come from who catch these foul
balls. They are just kidding around. If I recall Skip Caray is the one who did this
the most.
